Wheels Teaser...

**** UPDATE TO THE UPDATE***
Just got some photos of the completed rears:

Its getting REALLY CLOSE now

*** UPDATE 12/8 ***
Just got an updated photo sent to me. They are finishing up the assembly process so it should only be a couple more days!!

*****************************

I just got a photo of the finished centers sent to me....

They should be done in the next week or so. They are still waiting on the inner and outer barrels to arrive then they can start the assembly process.

The rims are ADV1 5.2 Here is a photo of what the completed rim will look like (the boxster one won't be as deep however)

I have the tires already to go so it shouldn't be much longer!

Sorry Johnny, ADV1 wheels are custom made per order (like HRE's) thus they dont publish their offsets but they do guarantee that they will fit with no issues.

Cheers

Very nice! As far as pricing is concerned, what did they set you back? If you are at all not comfortable with posting this publicly. Feel free to message me via PM.

Best regards!

Just under $6k and it's taken about 2 months so far for the wait.

Cheers

Mark,

Do you know what they will weigh? What tires are you going to use?

Looking forward to seeing them on the car!

Hi Derek!

I'm using Toyo Proxes T1R's. Toyo is in a transition from the T1R's to their new T1Sports and they are doing special rebates on them.

I'll let you know the weights once we get the rims in which should hopefully be next week!

Cheers!

6k on rims and you're worried about tire rebates?

Anyway, they certainly are good looking wheels! Looking forward to seeing it all put together.

Not really "worried" about rebates it just so happened that they were priced aggressively. If cost was a factor, I'd be looking at a lower price tire like Hankooks or Generals.

Cheers
