RSS 7mm Spacers

When I got my cayman wheels the offset was not exactly what I was hoping. I bought a set of RSS 7mm spacers. They came with the screw in tool to help align the wheel on the spacer and extended wheel bolts. I took before and after photos but it is hard to tell the difference in the pictures so I left them out. I may take the car out tomorrow to get the first impressions. BRBS will be here soon!

Jaay, thanks for the pics...I was looking to buy some this week but was still trying to figure out who to get from and what size. I have a 2000 'S' and I hear folks say they use 14 back 7 front...I was going to get one set of 7s and see how they look first. Post pics with them on the car when you can.

Will do. My car is a bad judge of the product though. I have coilovers and carrera sport 19" wheels. If the car comes out tomorrow I'll snap some photos for you.

Did you get them direct from RSS or from another source, I was just checking them out over on 6speedonline>

I bought them direct. I see your in NC. Are you going to brbs? If so I'll see you there.

Shiny

My 15/7mm RSS spacers arrived today. They are very nicely made and I fitted them this evening. A quick test drive yielded 0 wobbles or worries. :)

And I like the RSS sticker.

Nice!

I got my 15/7mm from Maxspeed incl. longer wheel bolts. As far as I am concerned a must do mod!

Hi Jayy,

I have fitted the Cayman S rims to the 986 too same as yours.

Did you put spacers in the rear wheels as well?

While the front wheels MUST need the spacers for sure, the rear wheels are directly fitted into the car without the help from spacers.

Also, just a curious questions, did you change any sway bar in your car? If not, what's your rationale behind?

I am your follower and have been followed your posts for nearly 2 years! You really have one of the greatest 986s I have ever seen! Please don't change for a GT86!

I plan on putting spacer too, but why going for thinner in the front ?
