OEM anthracite wheels and painted rotor hats

Some idiot (me) dropped one of my wheels face first onto the pavement and gouged it so I needed to get it refinished.

Nice

Great paint job you did. Your car looks immaculate by the way.

You really shouldn't be painting the surface of the bell where it mounts to the wheel.

Looks good. Are your calipers stock?

Your wheels look great! Is the paint you used as durable as the factory Porsche paint? One of my wheels looks like it was touched up before and doesn't look too good. I was thinking of doing the same to my wheels. What paint did you use, and did you take the tires off to paint them?

nice how did you get the perfect round border on your rotors? will the paint resist the brake temperatures?

Thanks for the compliments everyone - hopefully this has been helpful for those who want to paint their rotors.

hey that is smart........what paint did you use for the hats?

thanks for the info...

that came out very nice.
i would have invested that money in larger sized wheels and perhaps sold those to compensate for the $, but wow that came out very very nice.

that color looks great, are you talking about the Z06 anth, wheels in that gunmetal color? i had a set of those wheels, and that color is sweeeeet :)

I hear what you're saying about the larger wheels - but the boxster is a daily driver. It definitely should have 18s though for looks. That and about a 1.5 inch drop :)
