The upgrade bug...
Okay so the initial investment was the car... then the "upgrades" bug sets in!
2004 Boxster S - short shifter - Fabspeed exhaust - H&R lowered suspension - new wheels 19x8.5 235/35/19 front, 19x10.5 275/30/19 rear with Pilot 2's - custom carpets from Lloyd's What's next? |
Looks nice!!!
I've had that bug! My next suggestion is painting the bumperrettes, brake calipers, and adding some Aero side skirts. You can also add the mesh on the rear bumper, only works on 03/04. http://lh3.ggpht.com/_9sTq_sN1KDw/Sa...2009%20003.jpg |
I've been thinking about putting a smoked 3rd brake light with LED's on mine. Cost is only $100. The clear version is too "ricey" IMO, but the smoked would complement the rear tailights and side markers on my car I think.

^I was thinking of getting that but you bet the same part made for a Honda Civic goes for $25 on ebay.

Wow, don't stop there.
Think about where you park it, where you drive it, what clothes you where when you drive it and who's next to you when you drive..... all can be upgraded too. Sounds like the economy hasn't affected some people. |

Seriously, you have no idea the amount of money that's flowing out there. |
Drop the Hammer
Yo yoyo7,
Got a stttutter. How 'bout the ultimate mod, add 100+ HP!.......no balance change. Get a RUF 3.6L X51, a Raby 3.6L or DIY 3.6L. Over 350 hp in a Boxster S is a wildass sportscar. I dumped the coin into mine, and I am freeking thrilled every time I cut her loose on a mountain 2 lane. Good luck, Ike |
Whats better the RUF 3.6 x51 engine or a Raby 3.6 rebuild? Im doing one or the other very soon, just dont know which yet...
