New Member-New Boxster: '01 S Speed Yellow
New to Boxsters, but not Porsches. i've had an '88 928 S4 for about 10 years and just got the Boxster for a DD (was an '01 325i).
PSM, full leather, painted interior... http://www.eskimo.com/~riffraff/imag...ter/2Pcars.jpg http://www.eskimo.com/~riffraff/imag...ter/Lake01.jpg http://www.eskimo.com/~riffraff/imag...ter/Lake02.jpg http://www.eskimo.com/~riffraff/imag...Interior01.jpg |
Welcome Dave! How much flack are you getting from the 928 boys eh?! LOL :D
Nice fine with the hard top too. |

a couple other guys in our local 928 group have Boxsters... |
You realize you'll never make enough in cab fares driving that car due to the lack of back seats and no luggage room to speak of, right? :D
All kidding about the color aside, that's a beautiful example of a Boxster. Very clean. So tell us about the 928... just how much work have you had to do to keep it running? My indy mechanic said that if he opened a 928 repair shop, he'd become a very wealthy man overnight. |

no huge failures. the biggest problem when there is a problem is access. the engine bay is very tight. WYIT (while you're in there) part replacements are big thing on 928's. most owners do their own work. http://www.eskimo.com/~riffraff/imag...ls/wheels1.jpg http://www.eskimo.com/~riffraff/imag...inepaint01.jpg |
