02 Boxster S

So the weather finally decided to let up after a gruelingly long winter, so I decided to take my new Boxster and wash it up like i've been meaning to. This has been some of the first warm weather we've had since I bought it back in January, so needless to say I was ecstatic to take it out for a mountain drive. Anyways, here are some pictures I thought I'd share:

Scenery and car look GREAT. Bob

North Salt Lake?

Scenery looks familar - I used to live in Bountiful UT (by the golf course). Makes me want to take a trip back to visit - kinda get used to the Mtns.

btw - is that a decal on the windscreen - or one of the new laser etched?
I am in a very small minority in this forum but I like the windscreen artwork.

The pictures are from Summerwood, right above the golf course. And the windscreen is the laser etching, I like the way it looks as well! What's wrong with a classic Porsche crest?

Thanks for all the compliments!

I always liked the white on a 986 .. I apologize for the hack job, but I always wanted to do a GT1 tribute with a white box. haha ...

I have done a photo session with my BMW 540i in that exact spot, sibling used to live in summerwood. Know any Deharts?

Wow, that car is really stripped down for an S. It looks like there's no cruise control or rear speakers. I didn't know you could get the car without them.

Personally, I'd prefer the car that way. A sports car should only have what it needs to make it go faster and stop better, leave the heated seats, navigation system and reverse cameras for Lexus and Mercedes.

Nice windscreen

Where did you get the windscreen. It looks great. Also how is it mounted?

gdalby 04-30-2009 12:22 PM

To Jackel, I do know a few Deharts (dated one actually) but they weren't from Bountiful!

Blue, I agree. I thought about getting the rear speakers installed because I am a music fanatic, but I just decided to leave the car the way it is. I love it the way it is set up right now. The only thing I intend to add is an iPod adapter. Has anyone had experience with this guy's stuff? http://www.iwirep.com/

Chef, it came with the car (bought used). I'm not sure where it came from originally! I believe it is mounted as all other screens do, the black clips on the top part? Honestly haven't touched the damn thing so I couldnt tell you.
