New Wheels!

I got a killer deal on a set of Enkei NT03 +M 18" wheels. The stock 17's wrapped in Conti's were shot (pics included) so I am excited to have new wheels and tires. I will also include weights of the stock wheels, the Enkei's and a few other wheels for reference. The widths are 8.5 front and 9.5 rear with 15mm spacer in the back.
The tires that are on them are Pilot Sport Cups, only about half worn, but useless in 40 degree rain.

Once it stops raining in a month or two I will put up real pictures when the car is clean.

Looks nice, dont over inflate these like it looks like you did your last ones.

Yea I set them for a track day when it was really cold and forgot to lower them. Otherwise I would have burned off the outside first. They are about 8K miles past the wear bars so I'm not complaining.

Nice looking wheels, I have not seen that style before. Do you notice a difference in responsiveness in the car with them? When I went from 17" to 18" wheels, I could tell my accereration was not as quick, have fun,

Ed

Awesome track wheels -added bonus, they look pretty good too!
I looked at just about every wheel at TireRack.com for Boxsters. Those are
the lightest wheels I could find. I think they were less than 20lbs.

Drop the car about an inch with some quality springs and that will look tight!
Great job!

I need to weigh them. I don't feel any difference because I don't think there is any addition in weight. They are crazy light.

I do however feel a major difference in steering responce. Now mind you I did go from Conti 2's to Dot R's. But the steering went from dead and numb to downright twitchy.
