*****Techart Boxster; Bumper & Side Skirts*****

Here is the Boxster with a Techart Style Bumper and Side Skirts.

The kit was purchased from Precision Porsche in Harbor City, CA. I was amazed by the quality and fitment of the kit. The lower spoiler was over-laid with Carbon Fiber before installation for durability and good looks. Kit was fitted, prepped and painted by McKenna Porsche Collision Center in Downey, CA. :)

The end results proved to be worth the time and effort. ;)

I was extremely pleased with all involved in transforming the Boxster. Precision Porsche Kit is next to flawless and McKenna Collision Center's Paint Work is unmatched, as close to OEM as I have seen.

I know what you're thinking, so I have set an appointment to have a custom fitted Carbon Fiber Rear Disfusser made to match the kit.

Your comments are welcomed and appreciated. :D

Since you asked for feedback I'll just say that it isn't to my taste. To me it doesn't look like it "fits" the car. Just my opinion.

As long as you like it I guess that is all that matters.

i guess if you are happy with what you've accomplished .. it's ok. you are what you drive... just don't expect to recoup your expense later on..
nothing personal ..... just not my taste.. ;)

Looks good but it's pretty noticable that it's missing the 3rd center radiator.

Nice

I was looking at that kit for my boxster.... I would definately recommend springs to lower the car about an 1'' to 1.5".... i think that would set the bumper to the floor allowing the "stealth look" =-like the porsche is going to eat you when it drives by : )

I thought I would have liked that Techart bumper but unfortunately after seeing your application I am not too fond of it. Something looks off, perhaps the missing radiator, or vent covers.

I love the real Techart bumper that my friend has on his 997S.

My current favorite bumper for the 986 has got to be Wicked's 997 Turbo/GT2 bumper. Too bad its 1/4 the value of my car.

In Response to Some of Your Comments

Thank you all for your time and comments. :)

I really like the looks of the kit. I plan to supercharge or due an engine swap to compliment the Boxster's aggressive look.

No center radiator missing, just opted not to paint underneath the bumper as many folks due. It isn't that noticeable in person, in the photo the light was shining just right to where it accented its biggest flaw. :o

The Boxster is already lowered on H&R Springs and is plenty low.

Lower spoiler is included with purchase of kit. Carbon Fiber over-lay cost an additional $140.00.

Future Plans:
