Fender badges

My car is tucked away for the winter and I'm really starting to miss it. I do have some minor work planned for it but it's just too cold right now even in the garage. It's been snowing every week up here in NY. Really looking forward to spring time. So, the only thing I've gotten around to doing so far is adding these Porsche Emblem (stickers) to the side fenders.

What do you guys think? Like it or not? Go ahead, don't hold back. lol

It is snowing over here in Ulster county too! :barf:

I hope those are stick on and not where you had to drill holes??????? I believe the location is where the 550 had a crest or emblem. There are some nice small 3-d peel and stick crests you can get from your dealer. I put one on my clear plastic wind stopper between the seats and am pleased with it. You also need to give us a pic from a little further back from the car. I know what you mean about not being able to do much with the cold weather, I am starting to get Boxster withdrawal symptoms, i.e. Pouring over old issues of Excellence scouring for something for the Car that I might have missed, well you get the picture. Party on and hope spring comes soon.

AKL

IMO, Looks good on a Ferrari, out of place on the Box.

Scuderia?

Na. I like Porsches that have subtle class. Posting the emblem doesn't do that.

We had vinyl ones made for a Boxster club event, and it looked ok I thought, but I removed it after the event.

Interesting

I think the Ferrari badge lends itself to the fenders as it is less intricate. Porsche crest has a lot more details, so a bit too busy for my fenders imo. Plus from a side profile, our cars are very simple and clean looking. But just because I wouldn't do it, I really do like seeing it on other Boxsters. How boring would it be if we all decided to drive our cars stock. And there is really nothing wrong with that either, but there is always room for people who dream of what can be and not just accepting what things are. Variety of minds, tastes and styles makes it very interesting & fun to go to some of these meet ups.

So forget about popular opinion including mine, do what you think suits your style. I like to think if you don't like something, you can always change it back but at least give it try otherwise you'll never know. There is bound to be like minded people out there who likes what you do and may have already done it too.

Cheerios!

I'm sorry but I agree with Jeph it's just to much.

I think it looks just as bad on the ferrari as on the porsche.. Why stick something out of place on a car that prides itself on having perfect swooping lines?

I added mine and they are functional side blinkers....real Porsche mini badge...Plexi and LED lighting..
