Tough to say....I have mixed feelings. I really like the painted look but I think it might wear on you after awhile. Those are some of my favorite wheels for the Boxster so I like them stock. However, the painted look is very original. I think they may look just a bit too dark....

Personally, I'd leave them as is. They are great looking wheels.
I've never been a fan of black center/different color wheels, especially the home-made variety.

No go on the paint.

a) It's been done before.
b) It's hard to match the colors.
c) Colors will fade, paint will chip.
d) Possibly harder to resell.
e) Factory rims look great!

Go for it!
The only silver on the car is the rims, so they need to be blacked out. And I like the yellow accent.

Of course my opinion is biased as my summer rims are black, but I think they would look good in a black satin finish. Maybe a thinner yellow line around the outside and dont paint the rivets, or paint them the matching yellow, although that may be overkill.

I personally do not like the yellow/ black wheel combination. It's just too much.

I like the idea, But instead of a thick yellow lip... We do a nice 1/8th" thick yellow pin stripe and it looks great and aggressive.

IMO I would not.
I appreciate yellow cars but I do not see myself ever owning one, so perhaps if you are the kind of person that can own a yellow car you are inclined to like the wheels painted that way, I'm not so I wouldn't know

That is by no means a slam, just an observation. Do what feels good, it's only paint.

I would leave as is. There so much more your can do to your car and make it look even more sportier.

1. Clear Tail Light 03' - $175
2. Clear Side Marker Light - $25
3. Paint the bumperettes - $50
4. Boxster Aerokit II Side Skirts - $700

Nooooooooooo

Just another opinion from the peanut gallery. I've always loved the classic black Fuchs wheels, but I think on your yellow box you should stay with what you got.

That lambo doesn't look good because those are old school wheels painted in black with yellow stripe.

But how about blue/black?

Or yellow with silver lip?

Green?

I ps'd the windshield surround and mirrors. I picked up a black hardtop and decided to keep it that way and save the money from not painting it for other mods...
