I have two hobbies beyond keeping the boxster purring.
1. I collect MontBlanc pens.
2. I have a 150 gallon marine aquarium.
Both can suck a wallet dry in no time.

Please resize some of these photos down.
Thanks
PS-I have a friend who owns a jet plane and a 48 foot boat. He tells me the best thing about the boat is that, compared to the plane, it looks like a total bargain.
Go figure!

My toys...
Beyond my Boxster, my only other toys are:
1 excellent condition Spring Break pinball machine from 1987 with Spuds McKenzie and a few scantily clad women with bad 80's hair.
1 recently restored Zaxxon upright.
I enjoy restoring old arcade games from the 80's...
Oh yeah and then there is my favorite sport the Kegerator! I currently have Blue Moon on tap and it's 2 beers away from empty - then I'll get a 1/2 barrel of Leinnies Red, my favorite!

Waaaay too many toys to list, but I'll post this one that I just bought on Monday. A little "my wife is leaving me" present to myself, if you will...

Yup, she's going. Tried like hell to talk her out of it, but she's having some kind of mid-life episode. The bad part is, the Boxster is hers.
She hasn't made up her mind yet, but if she takes it with her, I'll have to get another one.
Oh...wait...that's not so bad. Maybe I'll get an S this time...or how about
that anniversary edition 550...or one of those orange 987s...
What's with blkboxster's pictures? Can somebody re-size them, or what?

My wife filed for a divorce in November 2005. One month later I bought my Boxster. I was pretty depressed at the time and the Boxster really was my divorce present to myself to help cheer me up (and piss her off ). Every time I drive the thing I do get a big grin on my face, so it does work. In the end it turns out that my wife divorcing me was one of the best things that happened in my life. I didn't realize how bad things really were until I was out of the haze. Hope things work out positively for you Griz, either way. For now, relax and enjoy that new Jag. She's a real looker!!!

Thanks guys. I think I'm doing pretty well, so far. Maybe it just hasn't sunken in yet.
Thanks for the compliments on the car. The thing is a sledgehammer. It's the supercharged XJR. With the aftermarket S/C pulley and cold air kit, it makes a little over 400 horsepower.
Nice quiet road car for my weekly trips back and forth to Philly.

Hey Ike! Nice Cattle Dog. I've got two.
Here's my other toy. It's a 2002 Pontiac Firehawk. 345bhp & 345lb. ft. torque. I've since put a Bilstein suspension on it (optional, but it didn't have that option) and lowered it 1". Totally different type of car than the Boxster, but I love it. Part of the reason I got the Boxster was this is my garage queen, and since it's a limited edition (only 133 were made in that color), I won't risk it at the track.
