Here's another i did for fun, without using anyones actual car. (i like it better)
Also, IMO, this would make a great rear plastic license plate frame thats for sure.
(Id'e buy it and wear it to promote the forum.) cool if available in different colours to match our cars:-)

I agree, the old early 90's type graphics got to go, so bad I selected the Pelican Parts vBulletin 2 style format to view the forum, actually not too bad as I can also surf Pelican at the same time.

1998 2.5 Boxster

This is what my Boxster looks like so far. Sorry for not having reacted to the PMs. Will be better at it.
Unfortunately having internal issues with my engine! :-(

Gorgeous car !!!!! Love the rims!!!
I really need to know more about that Kick butt rear bumper
please tell me what it is! I want one!

Also, curiosity is just killing me on the 2x turbos on a 2.5.
everyones swears its a totall waste of money with no braggable gains other than
guaranteed engine destruction. (Did you at lease change the pistons), What is your take on that set up after you tried it!
regreats or smiles?

Ok yah, and how much boost?

Please do tell! or should i just assume with your comment about engine trouble that says it all!

Thanks. looking forward to your reply.

Thanks
The amber has grown on me...it's more the shape of the headlights that I don't like, though I really don't notice that anymore either.

At XTR986:
I'm posting a picture of the rear end. It's just and aftermarket fiberglass rear/skirt if you will. It was locally (by the guys at "No Limit") molded/mated to the stock bumper. I spray painted the semi oval shape around the grill to resemble the intakes. I bought it from eBay awhile back. Not seeing them there now..

As for the status of the worthiness of the twins I fear your latter statement applies. I enjoyed them even when only boosting 5psi. They were enough to match the performance of my dad's 2005 Boxster S (3.2). The guys at Turbowerx helped me good throughout the setup and there after but recently was having smoking issues and I did a compression test. At least one of the cylinders is showing reading less than half of the others. Don't know for sure yet what happened but I've been so bummed out that I just left the car (looking pretty).

Next step is take out the engine to know for sure..

My screen name comes from the SC Element in the street. Sadly, sold it 2 weeks ago, it was a great utility daily driver, and bike hauler.

I have been playing around a lot with the camera and GIMP (Linux Photoshop equivalent). I like some of the results I get. This is just below Chinook Pass, in Washington state, in May. Elevation ~5000 feet.

The colors here are just wild enough to look a bit unreal, but they also bring out the purple/blue awesomeness that is Zenith Blue.

Our last ride towards the Dolomites ..... and probably one of the last weekends before the bad season.

In Possagno, right in front to the tomb of Andrea Canova, the neo-classic sculptor.

A stop for lunch at Forcella Giau, before heading down to Cortina. In the background, first the Alta Badia and then the Gruppo del Sella.

Love the car, but the roads got me drooling. That is the type of drive this car was made for!!!!
