Greetings from Germany

Hello to everyone!

At first I have to excuse my bad english. I learnt it at school 20 years ago...
Perhaps I can improve it a little bit, taking part in this forum.

I am native German and live in Mannheim (Less than 100 Miles away from "Porschetown" Zuffenhausen / Stuttgart.

Last year I importet my Boxster (2000, 3.2 "S", many Goodies) from Italy!
The car was in perfect condition for a fair price.

I love this car....Driving make fund everywhere, through the Alps or on the German Autobahn.

Today wheather conditions are fine about 25 degree Celisius (What is this in Fahrenheit?)

Good to have you aboard! That would be 77 degress Fahrenheit.. You are lucky it was 56 degress at my home yesterday!

Happy touring. I know you have great roads over there as I once took my motorcycle to Europe and traveled from UK through France, Italty, Austria Switzerland and Germany and then back to the US. Spend a good deal of time going over all the passes in the Swiss/Italian Alps.

Have a good day!

Welcome!
You live in a great area of Germany.
I flew into Munchen (Munich) on business a couple of months ago. I spent several days in the area. I had the opportunity to drive on the autobahn up to Erlangen. I was able to finish my business early so I took the autobahn down to Stuttgart where I had the opportunity to visit the Porsche factory in Zuffenhausen. The tour was fantastic.
I then felt like taking the long way back to Erlangen so I headed up north not far from you through Wurzburg.
The whole area of Germany I traveled through reminds me of western Oregon where I live. Very green, some hills, valleys, low mountains, fun twisty turns etc.
You are very lucky as you get to drive on the Autobahn every day!
By the way, your english is great.

Wink

Welcome ! About 10 yrs ago now I spent 3 weeks traveling through Germany. I like your country. Great beer and sausage. I too got to travel on the Autobahn but only as a passenger. By the way, your English IS MUCH BETTER than my German. Look forward to your posts here.
