Spent the day with some older Porsches

I went to a 912 event with my father in February, he has a 67 that he drives around. I have attached three photos.

My first Porsche was a 68 912...a great commuter and dead simple to work on. I never knew there were 912 events though....times have changed.

Cool x2.

My first Porsche was also a 912 - 1967 in Ivory/black. It had the 5 gauge dash and 5 speed trans whcih really made it closer to its 911 brother. I bought the car in San Diego and it moved east with me to NoVA. I sold it, and actually bought it back from the buyer after two years for a second stint of ownership before finally selling it to move up to a later model 911.

Fond memories for sure.
