More New Stuff...

After selling my first set of GT3 seats about a year ago that I had only owned for 2 days; I finally decided the LOOK was worth the sacrafice of a little bit of Enter / Exit comfort....

I drove down to San Diego this past saturday and picked these up from a fellow forum member.

Since my trip to pick up the seats I have been addicted to driving the car even more so then before. I put close to 850miles on the car this one weekend! Its sooo much more fun with these seats!

BIG THANKS TO CRIS (cbenitah) FOR THE SEATS AS WELL AS INSTALLING THEM FOR ME!!!!

Very nice James. Now you'll have an edge over other boxster drivers at an autocross.

I'm glad you like them.. The sure look good!

Installation is very easy if you have the right tools and good light, then unbolt and bolt in..

Looks great! Out of curiosity, did you check the weight of your seats and the new ones? I'm interested in potential weight savings.

Yes I know I could go on a diet and lose 20kg ... achieve the same thing and save money in the process But these look so pimp!

I didn't weigh them but I can tell you that just by pulling out the stock seats that the GT3 seats are much much lighter.

Maybe someone else on the fourm has more information for you.

I love those seats. I think they would look even better in your car with the upper section painted arctic silver/alumalook like these. I sat in them, and to me, they felt great- not restrictive at all, still very comfortable, and great support. Congrats.

I love the look of these seats. But I am a fat boy and wonder if I'd be comfortable in them.

Does one have to be 160 lbs or or have a max waistline of 30 inches or whatever to enjoy them?

I'm 5'11" and about 200lbs, and they felt very comfy to me. I drove in them for only a short period of time, but didn't notice any discomfort. They were a lot easier to get into and out of than the Sparco racing seats that I tried out too.

I LOVE those seats. Do you know if they come in any other color than black? For instance..savanah beige? Or do I need to change the color of my interior to get them to look correct? Not a good option.

Actually, they come in any color you want. You can order them in any color that the standard seats came with.

Once I get a few more things done to the car I will send it in to have those upper handle areas on the seats painted to match the rest of the interior.

Everything in due time.
