Painted Center Console Pics

Hello All-

My latest upgrade is the painted center console (Seal Gray). I really like the way it breaks up the monochromatic "all black" interior.

Took me a while to put in with a DIY off of B&M racing short shift kit install, but the outcome was great with no scratches/dings to the paint.

I know the pics are terrible with the lighting and my interior needs a vaccuum, but I've chosen to drive alot more often than detailing lately due to short days and cold weather.

Hope you all like it...

Jeff, nice work!

How many coats of paint and clear? Where did you get the paint?

Sorry, I was vague on the source.

I got it on Ebay unused/uninstalled from a guy who ordered it from Bumper Plugs that had a Arctic Silver car and orderd the wrong item.

Got a nice discount vs. buying it new and everyone is happy.

Now I'm going to do the bumperettes myself with either paintscratch.com or the auto parts store where you can order it. Advance Auto? can't remember...

Good find, then! Bumperplugs does great work, quality and customer service. The owner, Eric S. is a great guy too.

It looks great!
It almost looks like my arctic silver console.
Post pictures when you do the bumperettes, I have also been thinking of doing that myself.

Love the seal grey on the console... I've been on the fence about doing that vs. arctic silver for the console, but I think your pictures swayed me towards doing it in seal grey.

I've always thought the painted center console was a must do for the interior of the car. Love mine:
