Took a drive the other day, Pics

My favorite local road, deserted midweek in the mornings. Enjoy

Brake Dust!

And here's a short little vid going back down the road in second gear. Couldn't shift cause I was holding the camera. I know, "Unsafe", I agree, but I know the road like the back of my hand, and as stated before, deserted midweek and no houses.

Quick video

Yep RUF RGT bumper(hence my handle) and the skirts came packaged in Porsche boxes, but came from RUF as the 3400S Skirts. I believe they are 911 skirts that have been stretched. About 6-8 inches from the back, there is what appears to be a patch glassed/plastic welded to the inside of the skirt. The techs at the porsche garage seemed to think there was a metal piece in there too to give strength to the splice. For that reason they would not file down the "lump" on the skirts, and there is about a 1/8" bulge in that spot in the skirt. Can't see it unless you look closely, so I never tried to get it fixed. Also the setup came with the GT3 rear spats from the Ver. 1 GT3, another reason, they were once 911 parts. Unfortunately the spats will in no way fit the shorter bumper of a boxster.

Good stuff. Nice ride and nice ride (the Box and the drive). I kept half expecting the vid subject matter to suddenly change wildly (sky, roof liner, your right elbow, creases in the leather of the passenger seat) as you drop the camera immediately after viewing a couple of deer sauntering outta the woods onto the road. Be careful, dude.
