My 2001 Boxster the day after I bought it.

All I see is a red x. Check your post.

On a side note I was in Seattle a couple of weeks ago. I saw more Porsches there than I've seen in all of Chicago and the suburbs. You guys really like Pcars.

Looks like his server sometimes returns a 403 permission error on the file. Here is a direct link I found in the HTML source.
http://i.pbase.com/o3/04/811304/1/88147522.2KA6dsgA._MG_8715_cor_sharp_web.jpg

Update: I can't make it work in IE but managed to display the photo Firefox: click the link above and his server returns a 403 error page. Click in the address bar to highlight the URL and hit the Enter key. Now the photo loads.

Great picture. I think having the lights turned on detracts a little though.

How lonf of an exposure was that?

Thanks der Geist. I agree the lights are a little hot. This was an spur of the moment shot since a rainy day cleared up for an hour or so of topless driving. Shot is 30 sec exposure at f/11 while running around manually firing a Metz 54AF-1 flash four times from various angles. I would like to go back and tune up the picture a little. Try one w/o headlights on and more flash power, especially on the back half of the car.

Wow, nice work. That's close to magazine ad material. Is that seal grey?

If you do it again, you could try just the parking lights. Oh, and make sure to wait for another airliner to come into the shot...the light trails are a nice touch.

Ahhh, there's the picture. Great shot. I love that city. You guys don't have any straight roads. Want to trade some of your twisty ones for our straight ones?

Much appreciated ... Seattle's my hometown from long ago. Out at Alki Point?

Thanks. Not quite at Alki Point but just north of Salty's at the boat launch.

It had rained off and on all day, making it hard to enjoy a drive with the top down. We got out of dinner and it looked promising so the top came down and we got 1-2 hours before taking this. I wish I'd gotten this car years ago.
