imo, the lip is ugly :barf: , but every thing else is nice :D

jordan986 08-18-2007 07:36 AM

got it for free might have to take it off anyway due to the height!

SRQ Boxster 08-18-2007 07:40 AM

That yellow is smokin hot! Great job. How is the fit and finish of the GT2 cover?

jordan986 08-18-2007 07:44 AM

basically perfect except right where the clear corners are maybe 3-5mm gap other than that its great kit is from precision porsche!

bmussatti 08-18-2007 07:47 AM

Nice. Wow, that car is low. I like the venting on the top of the bumper.

Gary in BR 08-18-2007 07:51 AM

On your other post you said it was low, that is low, i would remove the lip, I think it will still look awsome with out it.

Chills 08-18-2007 08:43 AM

Very very nice looking. I like it.

Regarding the interior: why didn't you paint the bottom of the console, you know the "batwing" and the storage box? I think it would bring the consoles together for a more finished look.

Grizzly 08-18-2007 10:41 AM

I like it.

You're really going to need to take the lip off to be able to drive it, though. That puppy is going to catch on everything. I'd be worried that when it does hit stuff (and it will) it will pull and damage the bumper cover, as well.

Now, you need to look for a set of aggressive aftermarket wheels to complete the look.

djomlas 08-18-2007 10:49 AM

now you need something for the back, it looks tooooo weird all naked like that and all that stuff done to the front.
diffusers or maybe the gemballa rear valence.

looks good, but they didn't color match the skirts too well, they are a different shade of yellow. Maybe it is the lighting or the angle but it looks like a much more pale yellow color than the rest of the car. Most shops will respray for free if you arent satisfied.

blkboxster 08-18-2007 12:03 PM

forget the boxster ,i want that Rs6 in the back :D

yeah peter youre right now that i look at it again....they should respray it again. when i had a hood of my car sprayed, i went back 2 times till it was just right, no charge, it was just a bit off, but i cared so they did it.

BTW, yellow calipers should really set that car off, and some other wheels, otherwise, nice ride

and damn man, member since 05 and this is your 1st post hahaha

jordan986 08-18-2007 01:02 PM

I went outside and checked the paint it looks to be a perfect match must have been the shadowing and time of day I'll take another pic and post it!

lol RS6 is my dads kinda puts the boxster to shame such a sweet car!!

yellowboxster01 08-18-2007 02:10 PM

It's not uncommon for the skirts or bumper to be a slightly different shade. Those parts are fiberglass/poly/cf, it's hard to match them to metal. My front bumper is barely a different shade, I can tell but, no one else can.

That lip on there, believe it or not helps out alot. Mine isn't as long as yours but, it saves the bottom of the bumper when I don't angle it enough on a driveway. Look into getting the Turbo lip.

I love the interior, looks awesome. I think I'm going with yellow around the top part and cf everywhere else.

Are those Techart side skirts? I agree though, you need the diffusers in the rear to complete the look. Don't get me wrong though, your car looks great.:)

Looks good man. I wasn't a big fan of the GT2 bumper but it looks really good on your car.

jordan986 08-20-2007 11:06 AM

thanks for the compliments and yes they are TA skirts, diffusers do look nice anyone know the best place to pick some up?

BOXZING 08-20-2007 06:01 PM

Looks good! How much did the ride worsen going from the M030 springs to the Eibachs? I just threw on some 19s, using the help from this board, and I got a little bit of wheel gap that I must/should deal with.
