Finally a Spare Key

Since I got my Boxster in May I have been searching for a decent spare key I can take surfing or to the beach. I don't really feel safe leaving my car key on the beach in my towel. I finally called around to day and found a local locksmith that can cut laser keys. It cost me $40 to get the key made which is way better than paying Porsche $100+. The catch is that if you try to start the car with the key the car will immobilize because it won't be receiving the transponder signal. But for getting in and out while I'm surfing it is great.
I just wanted to share because I know there a few people that also want to get practical beach key.

They locksmith said that getting a hole through it is not uncommon, it doesn't bother me because it works fine.
