Track Day Oulton Park 26 June 07

A few pics of my car at Oulton Park. What an awesome track!

Does anyone have a shift light fitted to their car? Found myself hitting the limiter too often :) If so, where did you get it from

Great pictures...looks like a good day. Are you going to the PCGB event in september?

You will never see a boxster on the track at a DE with the top down and windows up over here in the US... especially with how much higher your helmet is than the roll bar....

I should be at the PCGB event, have to send the paperwork off this week.

There were 3 atoms at this event, the orange one tailing me was a supercharged car and was hugely fast. There was also a fully race prepared 997 turbo with carbon body etc, the owner had it custom built at a cost of over 200K GBP (about $400K US), made me look like I was going around in second gear!

If there are any other UK guys, I plan to be at Oulton on 20/7 and Anglesey on 31/8 to try out the new circuit.

The car was great, I am just trying to locate a second set of wheels to get some track tyres and am looking into the performance friction brake upgrade. Its time for new disks anyway so it might be a worthwhile option.

Thanks for the comments

Dave
