03 and later Boxsters do not have replaceable spark plug tubes like 02 and earlier Boxsters. Yes they can be replaced, but you would have to tear down the engine to do so.

AFAIK, the fuel door lock is tied in with the door locking system. So if the door lock fuse is working, then the fuel door lock should be working.

I can change the AOS on my 03 S in 30 min easily. I would not buy one and then store the car. Buy one when you pull it out of storage or wait for it to fail.
