The first time I had mine smogged the station had me remove the engine cover, and this was before they had wi-fi connectivity so disassembly was done while on the rollers. I wasn't too happy....

It should work. I use a "battery tender" trickle charger on all my batteries, AGM or flooded without issue. I think the only time you need a dedicated charger would be for Lithium Ion batteries.

I think the accepted oil level is one bar below full feeling that a full fill may overwhelm the air oil separator. However, I've been running at completely full for some time with no issue.
