Make sure you have the hazard switch plugged in...

Make sure you have the hazard switch plugged in correctly. On my '98 it can fit in more than one orientation, and it kills other lights when in wrong.

I have a 987.1 cayman and a 986 boxster. There really isn't all that much difference. It's a bit harder to reach in the top of the engine compartment with the cayman due to the hatchback.

I haven't had a problem with the engines I've put UDP's on. Only remove the minimum of material needed for clearance. I switch back to the stock pulley if I need to lock the crank.

I moved race seats/mounts directly from my '06 cayman to my '98 boxster. Mechanically, you should be ok. I imagine the electrical connections might be different - I didn't look into that.

Any other hints on getting the bolts out without breakage? Is an impact wrench better or worse than a breaker bar?

I have a real bad track record with them and need all the advice I can get!
