2004 Boxster (65k) periodic loss of power

As the title states... I have a 2004 Boxster with 65k on the clock and it drives great.
However, lately I have had moments where it seems the car suddenly loses
power (at approximately 40-45 mph)...

It's the water pump. The reason you don't see a leak when it's hot is because the coolant is evaporating due to the heat. When it cools off it doesn't evaporate and you see the puddle. My water pump...

I have a 2004 Boxster base with a Tiptronic. Like the title says, is there a limp mode on the transmission? For example I was climbing a steep grade on a mountain road, and the grade got really steep...

pump install. Needless to say I did that job myself.

So, the headliner strap came off on one side and I can't even see where it goes.

Which coolant to use in 2004 base?

I would like to top off the coolant and I know about the pink and yellow Porsche variants. However, my coolant is more of a clear oily type. I dont know what it is.
