With my VIN number a dealer might be able to tell?

I found out that here I can get up to 91 octanes.
Is that still too low.

The GIAC representative will let me use the ECU upgrade for 2 weeks to see...

I found out its not possible.
Although a GIAC ECU reprogram might get the same effect or even better , according to some tech guys.

I want to put one but herad , it created problems with the sensors and MAF, also was told by a mechanic, that the problem was with older models where the sensors were not that good and for the 987...

Whats the point of octane booster?

We in Costa Rica have 87 octane (our premium) so I was thinking of using octane booster, after reading only rises .1 or .2...
