Well the part of a swap that scares me the most is the electronics. That's where I'm weakest. It occurs to me that an '03 3.6L might "talk" to my DME better than an much later 3.8L. ?? waddya...

Others have mentioned byprovider's motor for sale. That's probably a great idea, since the build is documented...
