Thanks Christi. We'll see how they work. I figured if the plastic was already brittle it this might be a better solution than heating.

I had to rotate them a little to get them seated...

I had to rotate them a little to get them seated all the way, but they are solidly in place now.

I picked up a set of 17x6.5 Cayman wheels for winter use, and noticed that the center caps were loose enough that they seemed like they could fall out, and two of them had broken tabs.. I suspect...
