I wonder - why didn't the new alternator and...
I wonder - why didn't the new alternator and clutch assembly stop the noise - it sounds like you have another problem which you thought was the alternator.....

The only difference I know of between the manual...
The only difference I know of between the manual & Tip is the freewheel "clutch" pulley fitted to the manual alternator. You can fit or remove the clutch unit and refit it onto a new alternator, but...
