I installed a set of Katana LED's in my 986 in April of last year. I am quite well pleased with them, they are definitely much brighter than the Halogens, and seem to run cooler, which should help...

..so today I will be taking the front struts back apart. I forgot to inspect/clean/regrease the strut bearings. Clearly, things were going too well to there not to be a snafu.

My 2000 S has the same issue, very faint on acceleration and cruising, sometimes not noticeable, but very pronounced while decelerating when the rpm's swipe through the 3000+- range.
