If the car is on a 5% grade or more, the brake engages. 3 seconds after you lift your foot off the brake, it releases and the clutch is then let out.

1 year ago oil change

So, I have had my 2009 Cayman 2 months now and am getting the service icon on the dash. The oil was changed 4,000 miles ago, but that was a year ago. Does oil get stale? Should I change it now?

OK. Jacked her up and saw the dad gum plastic shield [do not know the purpose of it] and saw tire marks on it. sprayed it with wd-40 and sprayed everything around it as well. No more creeking noise....

New Cayman owner

I drove many Boxsters and had some awful PPI's. I thought the convertibles were way too loud. So...I now own a 2009 Cayman 6 speed. It seems to stick to the pavement better than the Boxes and Miatas....
