Can you put one of those cheap Mityvac testers were you pulled the vacuum line off the booster, pump it up and see if it holds?

I bought my 03 base with 70k and replaced the clutch shortly thereafter, rivets had just started digging into the flywheel.
One of the po’s was probably an abuser.

The thing about CFRP I think a lot of people don’t realize is that if you don’t protect it with paint the sun will disintegrate the epoxy over time. Even the UV clears will let you down eventually....

Adding preload shifts the red line to the left. Depending on how much you add the equation goes from y=20/.2+0 to y=20/.2+10 or something.
Just make sure you aren’t getting close to coil bind...

Totally agree. The later models with glove box had some other nice things under the skin- S suspension, and fewer chain ramp issues.
Although there’s something to be said for cable throttle
