I'm also trying out Nankings (on 17" wheels) as winter replacements for my Continental Extreme Contact Sports. So far I've been pleasantly surprised with them.

I have a ‘99 Boxster with a replacement engine(it has the AT serial number). Is there anyway to tell approximately when it was replaced by using the engine serial number?

Go to utube and look up 'Burner's Cars'. Find his 'Fix 13' and go to 9:00 min. There he tells how to use standard shop tools and your weight to torque the axle nut.

Did get get them rehabbed. I took at least a dozen photos and none turned out very well. Maybe you can get an idea from these two. The color is slightly darker than the wheels.....
