Mine went out really badly and oil went literally...
Mine went out really badly and oil went literally everywhere, there was a small pool of oil in either side of the intake manifold which was hard to clean out fully

Would it be possible to just remove the rev counter and reset the needle back to zero or possibly source a rev counter that sits on zero or would it not work like that

Decided to clean out my intake as well as the MAF so removed the intake and throttle and I noticed what appeared to be a vacuum life just hanging there which is coming from under the drivers side...

I highly doubt they were, I read somewhere to reset it with some high end scanners so I borrowed a friends scanner and found literally a million options aside from anything to do with the rpm gauge
