I went back to the PowerStop website and figured out what I had done wrong. I was able to order new (lower dust) brake pads for my 2009 Boxster :)

I found a wrench locally that fits the NAPA 1042 filter, the wrench is a 74mm wrench, $8.99 at the local NAPA store.

Question In search of Oil Filter Wrench for 2009 Boxster

I have a 2009 Boxster, 987.2.

I have the LN Engineering spin-on oil adapter installed.

Can anyone recommend a good oil filter wrench that will fit the oil filter Napa Gold 1042 or Wix 51042...
