What is this part?

Found this part while cleaning up. I think it came from a tool kit belonging to a Boxster. It is very light, probably aluminum, has coarse threads on one side and fine threads on the other.

Porsche OEM Car Cover for Boxster

For 1997 - 2004 Boxster / Boxster S

Cover is silver with red Porsche lettering on the front.

Only used indoors. Excellent condition - no rips, tears, or stains.

Boxster Bentley Service Manual

Used, in okay shape. Spine is broken b/w sections 48 and 50, which are contiguous (around the middle of the book)

98 2.5 L with about 173,000 miles on the engine. IMS bearing replaced about 25,000 miles ago although the original turned out to be perfect. Cam deviation was measured less than 1000 miles ago plus...

Dansk muffler here. Rest of the exhaust system is stock. Slightly more aggressive sound and no drone. Overall happy with the sound and definitely with the quality and workmanship of the product
