No I know the sound you mean, you can only hear it at idle or when slightly reving the engine. When I got under the car it sounded like a pop/grind on the right or passenger side.

No that's what I thought at first. To me and I'm not a mechanic at all it sounds like maybe the water pump??? The sound goes faster with acceleration which has me worried.

15,000 miles, all stock, new tires no suspension work. It's really hard to identify where the sound is coming from. It's on when I go over bumps, top up or down.

The switch is in the center but feels like it...

The switch is in the center but feels like it only goes down, but has arrows that point both up and down. Don't want to force it up. Anyone know if it goes up? I feel like a total idiot on this one...
