Problem Solved
Disconnecting the MAF (having drilled the head torx screw that was rusty to remove and work out how to disconnect the wiring clip which was not easy!) allowed the engine to rev and all seems good...

Car won't run
Hi all. Got a problem with my Boxster 3.2 Triptronic 2000 not running. Starts and sounds OK for 4 seconds then slowly revs decrease and car stalls. No response from the throttle.

Problem Solved
Small threaded bar had jumped out of plastic retaining clip because the securing pin behind the handle was rusty. Replaced all for £30 now works but Airbag light...
