Yes, correct.

The link I posted was for the guys that repair the under seat unit.

They also sell a waterproof box to put yours in before it gets flooded. I bought one and installed it.

986 is a classic…..

…..just ask Porsche, the 986 is now covered under “Porsche Classic” with full parts support forever.

Filling the wire hole with the silicone was not a problem.

In that case, it’s simple-just install the Porsche OEM ROW struts and strut mounts and bump stops and you will be very happy.

….You can run 87 with no problem. You will lost roughly 15ft/lbs of torque below 4,000 rpm and about the same amount of horsepower at peak.

I would avoid running the cheapest “no name” fuel you...
