Turns out the seal for the gas cap was dried out and cracking. Replaced the cap, CEL shut off.

CEL came on. Went to advanced auto and had them scan it (only place open on Easter) and they are telling me that only this code is coming up. Any idea what this could be?

What is the button two under the PSM? Users manual says its the lights for the footwell. It doesn't seem to do anything while the top is up. 03 boxster S. Maybe it's for the flux capacitor? Lol.

Final Update:

New IMS, New Clutch, New Dual Mass flywheel, New RMS and $2900...the noise has stopped.

My car feels like it has been neutered going back to the OEM flywheel though :ah:
