I just changed my oil and used the Castrol Edge 0w-40. Been a couple of days and it still hasn't blown up. The jug says it's made in Germany. I used an STP oil filter that was also made in Germany....

I don't know if it prevents it but I wax all my car headlights at least twice a year and I don't have any fogging. My 8 year old Dodge Ram headlights still looks like new. My 2000 Boxster headlights...
