It'll work if you install ALL the components....
It'll work if you install ALL the components. This includes sensors on your suspension. The full kit is expensive, but a requirement if you want to do it according to Polish regulations.

I've done it. First went for an eBay short-shifter but wasn't happy with the precision so installed the 997 shifter.
Easy job. Lots of descriptions here in the Technical section on how to do it.
