My 2003 Boxster S top is in pretty decent shape, except for a couple of spots where the wear and tear from folding towards the back sides has started to fray through the outer layer of canvas.

Oh, and cbracer..

They are generic OBDII codes. But I don't think they're uncommon. Those two are all my Boxster threw.

Code P0171 = lean on bank 1
Code P0174 = lean on bank 2

Found the problem, guys!

Not that anyone responded.. :/

It was the AOS. It's diaphragm had begun to tear. Was sucking air into intake and creating a strong crankcase vacuum, substantially above what it should have been....

Hi Guys.

2003 Boxster S. 78K. Check engine light came on for first time.
Code reader gives me P0171 and P0174. Those two codes only.
P0171 = fuel system too lean (bank 1); P0174 = fuel system...
