I drove my Boxster daily for several months after the wear indicator came on for the front brakes. And even then when I changed them I still could have gotten more miles out of the pads.

Don't forget y'all can check coil packs with an ohm meter. 115k miles on my originals...no cracks and ohm tests are within specs (forgot the numbers but found it before in search).

Haha no I did replace the AOS at 85k when it blew. Then again immediately because I thought it was a bad AOS with the oil consumption. It consumed the oil despite 2 new AOS's.

I didn't have much luck searching Google on tips to cleaning the license plate from exhaust carbon. Granted....99% of the cars on the road don't have a centered exhaust output.

Soaked it in water...

There's a tutorial on how to fix the AC/heater flap (from loss of foam) by going in through the dash. I've seen it before but I can't find it! Anybody know the source for it?

DIY wheel bearing tip - don't need the $300+ tool

I just replaced my rear bearings with a $69 bearing kit from Amazon. It removed the old bearing, installed the new bearing, and installed the wheel hub. Without removing the carrier from the car.

Should a new wheel bearing wobble?

Before the axle is inserted and the axle nut torqued? I put in a new rear wheel bearing (using a bearing press tool) and the hub wobbles a little. Is this normal or is it a bad new bearing?
