We used the roll bar mount on the curved bar...

We used the roll bar mount on the curved bar behind the head rest. It fits pretty snug on the side facing outwards. The bar is thinner on that side. Be careful though, the roll bar mount easily...

Went ahead and took the plunge and bought the JNC300XL. Tried it on a dead battery. It worked!

Turns out that the battery was low. Jump started the car and drove it for an hour. Shutting it down and turning it back on worked fine. Thanks all!

Dual DIN Navigation unit with Cup Holder intact

Has anyone been able to install a dual din navigation unit with the cup holder intact? I have an 03' Boxster S. All the dual din installations I've seen have the cup holders removed.
