Rear trunk not opening, suggestions?

Hi all,

2002 Boxster. Owned for 8 years. Suddenly the rear trunk stopped opening by either the fob or the door switch.
The frunk works fine by both the fob and door switch.

Here's my 2002 Seal Gray

Have had to replace the plastic rear window.
Also had to repair the LCD of the climate display.
Have added colored logo caps to the wheel centers.
2nd owner, but have had Blitz for 8 years.

The other day, I had a great, empty straightaway. My 2002 base Boxster hit 104+ mph in 3rd gear without redlining. :)
