I just finished a rebuild on my 2000 boxster and I'm getting a sporadic P0301 only at idle. If the keep the engine above 1k rpm, it never gets the misfire. I done the following:

I just finished rebuilding 2000 Boxster 2.7L. It had a bad # 6 connecting rod bearing with a piston slapping, so the whole engine was torn down; rebuilt the crank and replaced the bad rod and piston...
