Nearly identical circumstances to ben2000. I replaced the AOS and oil filler tube on my 2000 base last summer and now the idle is rough. I have not cleaned the throttle body in the time I have owned...

Where did you get the replacement top for $350. Would you mind posting pictures of what it looks like on your car? My rear window cracked last week. It's temporarily repaired with clear shipping...

Gt3

Definitely the nicest Boxster GT3 with orange interior lighting I have ever seen. Don't overlook the selling points that it has also been in a minor accident and had four owners. So many pluses.

Nearly Porscheless

I live in a town of about 30,000 in Michigan. It seems like about every third vehicle is a Yukon Denali or a Cadillac Escalade so there is no shortage of vehicles in the $75,000 - $85,000 range but...

Another fan of the other boxer engine?

I've owned two Imprezas and recently bought a 2015 Forester. Great cars and you can't beat their AWD in bad weather.

Secondary Cats

There are no 02 sensors in or after the secondary cats so you should not get a CEL or a code in your OBD II reader by eliminating them. I have read elsewhere here that the car will pass the...

Drive it!

That is awesome. I don't understand why some people make garage queens out of their Boxsters. I bought my 2000 three years ago with 51,000 miles on it and have put just over 12,000 miles a year on...

They just need to be competent. I have had two four wheel alignments done in the last three years. The first was done at a local independent tire/brake shop that has been in business in my area...
