I made mine out of aluminum flashing and painted them black. I've heard them scrape a few times but the aluminum is easily bent back into shape.

I just added a 'S' oil cooler to my base 2000 model this winter per JFP's recommendation. I can't wait to reap the benefits.

The water pump bolts are different lengths. Make a template out of cardboard and push the bolts into it as you remove the bolts.

I like the idea of a support vehicle. As I get older, I have noticed my trips resemble more of an assualt on Mount Everest than a 200 mile day trip to Presque Isle in Erie Pa. for a day at the beach.
