IMS Bearing Cost
Greetings!...I have an '04 boxster with 60k....I've decided to have the IMS bearing done...wondering what I should expect as a reasonable cost for having the work done...I live in the Santa Cruz area...

Extended warranties
As a new Boxster owner, I am looking into extended warranties. Does anyone have any insights on warranties available to those of us living in California. There does not seem to be much available.

IMS failure
I was only told that the engine froze/ failed. No further exolanation was given and unfortunately, I did not ask....I am assuming it was the IMS.

Antenna amp
If you are having volume issues with only the AM side of the radio, check the antenna amp, it probably needs changing out.
